This section gives all the relevant information about booking the main hall or small hall and the charges involved.
There are two types of Let normally available at the Hall. These are Regular or Occasional.
Regular lessees should apply to the Booking Secretary directly via the contact form to confirm their Let requirements. All Lessees may be requested to give up a booking, so that a one-off event may be accommodated. Where a clash of requirements occurs, the Committee may be consulted, and its decision shall be final.
The Daviot Hire Agreement has been produced to ensure a safe and enjoyable let. This must be read and fully understood by all Lessees and their nominated responsible persons.
Charges for the Hire of the Hall Premises
Occasional let of the Main Hall, Small Hall & Kitchen Facilities £20 per hour
Occasional let of the Small Hall & Kitchen Facilities £10 per hour
For all evening functions there is a fixed fee of £150 which gives you access to the Main Hall, Small Hall & Kitchen facilities from 4pm on the day of the booking until 11am the day after the function. There is a £100 refundable deposit which is to be paid prior to the event.
Regular let of the Main Hall & Kitchen Facilities for a charity or not for profit organisation £10 per hour
Regular let of the Small Hall & Kitchen Facilities for a charity or not for profit organisation £5 per hour
Regular let of the Main Hall & Kitchen Facilities for Commercial purposes £20 per hour
Regular let of the Small Hall & Kitchen Facilities Commercial purposes £10 per hour
For Weddings there is a fixed fee of £300 which gives you access to the Main Hall, Small Hall & Kitchen facilities from 6pm the day before the wedding until 11am the day after the Wedding. There is a £300 refundable deposit which is to be paid prior to the event.
Hire charges are due for review on 1st January annually, and lets will be charged at the new rate.
